“I bought this collar for my 6 month old yellow lab who was very high energy and beginning to develop some bad habits (counter-surfing, jumping up on visitors, chewing on everything except his toys, etc!). I have seen a complete turn-around in his behavior. I have mostly used just the “beep” sound, but have used the shock a couple times (when the beep just wasn’t enough to deter the bad behavior). Now I only have to use a verbal command like “down” if he’s jumping on someone or “drop it” if he has something in his mouth that he shouldn’t have. He immediately stops the bad behavior when I give the verbal command. If it’s a new behavior I use the beep (or shock, if necessary) and then a verbal command is all that’s necessary from that point on. I have a friend who paid $200 for a similar collar, however…”

A few complained about the device being poorly made, of cheap quality and that the features only worked intermittently or not at all. Some reports stated that it stopped working completely after a couple of days.

One issue mentioned was that the shock function does not work well if your dog has thick fur and another tested it on their leg through their pants and said that it did not penetrate the material at all.

The device does not hold its charge for even a day, reported one user and some others also mentioned problems with it holding its charge. There also seems to be an auto-off feature as well, so if it is on for an extended period, it will turn itself off, and sometimes by the time you turn it back on it is too late to give the correction to the dog.

If you decide to go with this dog bark collar then make sure you buy it through an approved seller to ensure you can take advantage of the warranty, should you need to do so.

Despite the few negative experiences, there were many positive reviews with people being very happy with the performance and the price of the product.
